1) How can I speak with a lawyer about my legal problem?
Call (802) 388 -4026 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and speak with me or Debbie, the receptionists. We will set up a time for you to come in and meet with an attorney in our offices. Sometimes an attorney will travel to meet you if you are incapable of coming in due to extremely poor health or a disability.
When you call, we will ask you for your name, the names of other people involved, and other basic information and background on your legal issue. With this information, we can check for conflicts and our lawyers can be better prepared to answer your questions when you meet with them.
Frequently Asked Questions
-- Advice by Carol2) What are your fees?
Please call Debbie or me at (802) 388-4026. After discussing the nature of your legal issue, I can give you a general idea of the anticipated fee. However, each attorney will review your circumstances and case at the initial meeting, and give you a closer approximation or flat fee for the work that needs to be done. We are willing to work out a monthly payment plan with you, if needed. We accept personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, and ACH transfers.
3) Can I call after or before business hours to reach my attorney?
Yes, you can. Our office has a voice message phone answering system that rings to the attorney's desk and allows you to leave a voice message for any individual in the firm after hours.
4) Is your office handicapped accessible?
Yes! Our building features a wheelchair ramp and an accessible conference room on the ground floor.
